The light and color

Our eyes translate

To beauty, love, peace

Or sorrow, pain, loneliness

Put on a show

Pretend you know

What comes next

Then close your eyes

And sigh.

Life's Moments

All of the moments

of our lives

strung together

make us who we are

today.

At any given moment,

may crowd into our consciousness

and exhilarate us,

excite us,

frighten us,

sadden us,

delight us.
